Found in the South of France, this one of a kind Late 19th Century French Wood and Iron Artist Work Chair dates back to the late 1800’s. The handmade piece features a forged iron T back leading to a wooden seat frame often used as a work surface for the artist. An additional surface area rest below the seat most likely for artist supplies. Resting on three splayed legs that provide enhanced stability and a distinctive, airy aesthetic, each leg is adjoined by upper and lower metal supports.
