Found in the South of France, this Early 20th Century Chest of Drawers or Commode was crafted in the grand Louis Philippe style from walnut by French Artisans in the early 1900’s. The piece features a planked top banded on the front and two sides. Resting below the top are four hand dovetailed drawers that retain their original patinated brass hardware and key escutcheon plates. Two of the drawers present their original locks while two have been removed at some point in its lifetime. No keys are available. The chest of drawers rest on four feet with the front two showing a simple scroll design.
