This one of a kind and unique Early 20th Century Side Table was crafted by French artisans from walnut in the early 1900’s. The piece features a large bread cutting board that has been repurposed into a side table. The single plank bread board rest on four hand carved legs that have been joined by side and center stretchers. The legs and table exhibit tenon joinery, which is a strong ancient woodworking technique. The top exhibits precise wood repair that has been done over time and adds character and charm to the piece. This Early 20th Century French Walnut Bread Cutting Board Side Table with its warm aged wood patina could also be used as a small coffee table and will add a conversation piece to all interior styles.
