Found in the South of France this Early 20th Century French Cabinet was handcrafted by artisans from old growth pine in the early 1900’s. The cabinet features two pieces, an upper display shelf and a lower cabinet or desk. Constructed with seven drawers and four upper shelves the cabinet has ample storage. Each of the drawers and cabinet doors retain their brass hardware with two working locks and one key that operates the lower middle drawer and upper right drawer. The piece was hand-painted in the lovely French gray blue at some point in its lifetime. The upper cabinet doors exhibit a wire mesh in the panels which give it an open display appearance. Crafted as a multi use piece, it could easily be separated with the cabinet placed on the wall and the bottom portion used as a desk. This Early 20th Century French Pine Patinated Cabinet will make a statement when placed in any room of the home.
