Found in the South of France, this Early 20th Century French Hotel Silver Silverplate Serving Pitcher is hallmarded on the underside EPNS. Having a classic shape these pieces were made extra dense and heavy so as not to spill when in use. Highly collectable, hotel silver is a very heavy silver plate, usually triple-plated over another type of metal to make it durable for hotel and commercial use. This piece has been well used and loved through the years, the imperfections add to the patina.
