This powerful 20th Century Swiss Bronze Bird Sculpture is the work of French artist Charles Reussner (1886-1961). Reussner was well known and highly sought out for his sculptures. The piece depicts a stylized bird with a magnificent patina and a striking presence from any angle. Artist signed “Reussner” on the underside of the left wing, the bird is mounted on a natural stone base with the original made in Switzerland tag affixed to the bottom.
