Found in the South of France, this 20th Century French Hotel Silver Silverplate Sauce Boat is hallmarked on the underside TH, 40. The piece features a beautiful scroll edge underplate and the saucier is adorned with two handles. Highly collectable, hotel silver is a very heavy silver plate, usually triple plated over another type of metal to make it durable for hotel and commercial use. This sauce boat has been used and loved through the years and the imperfections add to the patina.
