Found in the South of France, this 19th Century French Walnut Farm Table dates back to the late 1800’s. The piece features a plank top banded on each end with wood peg construcion. The table top rest above two hand-dovetailed drawers that retain their original wood pulls. The back apron is paneled to mimic the two front drawers which allows the table to be easily floated in a room. Each side of the piece is crafted with carved detailed elements which add to its charm. The farm table rest on four turned legs that are adjoined by two end and one center stretcher. The center stretcher is adorned with a wooden finial in the center to add visual interest. This 19th Century French Walnut Farm Table with its warm aged patina could also serve as a desk and will make a statement in all interior styles.
