Found in the Provence Region of France, this 19th Century Louis XVI Walnut Console Table dates back to the late 1800’s. The piece features a planked top resting above front hand dovetailed side by side drawers, retaining their original brass pull knobs and a central fluted locking drawer. Each of the side aprons are distinctly carved in a fluted pattern. The table stands on four elegant tapered fluted legs that are capped with brass sabots. Crafted in the grand Louis XVI style, this 19th Century French Walnut Console Table with its warm aged patina could also be used as a writing desk or side table and will make a statement piece when placed in all interior styles.
