Found in the South of France, this 19th Century French Four Panel Folding Screen was hand painted by artisans in the 1800’s. The piece features four arched intricately painted panels depicting a French Provincial landscape to include architecture, olive trees and water. The painted finish has an aged distressed patina with fine craquelure which only adds to the charm of this antique piece. The panels are conjoined by patinated hardware to be used as a room divider and can be affixed to the wall showcased as a piece of art. The reverse side is hand painted with olive branches.
