Found in Provence, this 19th Century French Iron Garden Table was crafted in Northern France, specifically associated with the town of Arras in the late 1800’s. The piece features a weathered metal top resting above a column base leading to four iron scroll design legs and finsished with paw-shaped or “pieds griffes” feet. The hand-forged intricate scrollwork and paw shaped feet are characteristic of Arras, France. The round circular bottom piece is hallmarked Arras and the table exhibits years of worn paint which adds a distinct character to the piece. This 19th Century French Arras Iron Garden Table which was originally designed for French parks and public spaces is now used as rustic furniture in gardens or interiors.
